Battle Tag

Larpen ‘Light‘: the total combat workout

Battle Tag: Wat

Battle Tag combineert Archery Tag and Sword Tag a new phenomenon. Experience old-fashioned battles with each other, fighting with a bow, sword, ax or mace. A battle between good and evil, where it is not obvious that good wins.

Battle Tag is a kind of LarpenLight': experience the Larp battles, without the role-playing. For the atmosphere, wear a costume to move in the world of Robin Hood.

Also suitable for non-combatants: during the campaign, surgery is always required to care for’ wounded ' so that they can return to the fight.

Sherwood & Nottingham vs. The Dark Armies

The freebooters from Sherwood Forest and the soldiers of Nottingham help King Oberon: his treasure has been stolen by his archenemy Mordred! It is up to them to reclaim the treasure and defeat the undead, orcs and other creatures of Mordred. But yes, it is not self-evident that Mordred and his army will be defeated by the ‘good guys’. Among the enemy are also excellent archers and Warriors…

Anyone (over 16 years old) can participate in this game.

Rules Of The Game 'Troll Ball'

Troll Ball is a competition between two teams of 4 to 5 people with swords, maces or axes.

  • Each team has a bucket
  • The referee brings a troll head into play
  • The team that most often manages to get that head into the opponent's bucket wins the match
  • Opponents may be stopped using the weapons
  • The troll's head should not be kicked
  • Biting opponents is not allowed!
  • The referee is always right

For the rest, there are no rules. Injured players go to the side, where they are patched up by the surgeon on duty. After that, they again take part in the competition with fresh energy.

Practical

Battle Tag is an outdoor game, which takes place in a wooded area. In principle, the game always finds passage, even when it rains. In this case, transparent rain ponchos are provided that can be put on over the costume.

Our location

We adviseren om de game te laten plaatsvinden op het grasveld voor het landhuis van Landgoed Zonheuvel te Doorn.

The site for the archery and swordsmanship workshop, from Battle Tag, is easily accessible from Utrecht, Maarn, Doorn, Leersum, Amerongen, Veenendaal, Amersfoort and Zeist.

Your own location

We can also organize Battle Tag in your area. This is in consultation. Battle Tag can be played as an indoor game. For example, you can play Battle Tag in Utrecht, Amsterdam, North Holland, South Holland, Gelderland, Limburg, North Brabant or even Ardennes.

Carel has made it a great activity for the bachelorette party. We knew that the Bachelor would really like to participate in a larp once, but this seemed a little too complicated for us. Battle tag is a perfect alternative for this, it gives a good experience of a larp and is super accessible.
