Fairy-tale wedding succeeded thanks to brave adventurers
Princess Fiona happily married to Prince Valiant
KINGDOM OF OBERON – Yesterday it was finally time: the beautiful Princess Fiona married her fairy Prince Valiant. Surrounded by dignitaries from the realm of Elves, Dwarves and humans, the fairytale couple have given each other the yes word. Special guests were the survivors of the quest that led to the return of the dowry. King Oberon and the bride and groom addressed words of thanks to these brave heroes in the ceremony.
It mattered little if this marriage had not taken place. After months of preparation, the other party called off the proposed marriage. It seems that King Oberon had to bring in a dowry to settle the balance of power between his and the new in-laws. However, the treasure that Oberon wanted to bring in turned out to be stolen from him. On it, the King had spread advertisements to attract adventurers to recover the dowry.
It is whispered that Oberon's own child had to go with the company of adventurers, who had finally reported for the mission. So he had to recover his own dowry from the thief! That thief turned out to be none other than the Old Enemy of Oberon, whose name we do not wish to mention here.
The killer of King Oberon's predecessor apparently wanted to put a heel on his archenemy. So that almost succeeded, if not the adopted child of King Oberon, together with the adventurers, had defeated his nemesis! With the return of the treasure, preparations for the festivities could still continue.
It was a long time under the mountain. The necessary mead and hypocras have served as oil to lubricate the somewhat disturbed relationship between the two families. Princess Fiona and Prince Valiant thank all those present for their congratulations. And the gnomes in particular for the hypocras. One of those present expressed the hope that little princes and princesses will soon be welcomed. And of course we share that hope!
And they lived happily ever after…
